Why the National Endowment For the Arts Needs To Die

Why the National Endowment For the Arts Needs To Die

Over at Hit & Run, they have an example of the National Endowment for the Arts sending out requests to artists to participate in a political activity--then denying that they were involved. But forgetting that you when you send out an invitation that is explicit about its purpose from a government email address--it's easy to prove who sent it!

Look, it's bad enough when big corporate interests are promoting the leftist agenda (as they almost always do)--but at least it is a private company's money. I resent deeply having to fund out of my taxes cheerleaders for the left.

Want to get the deficits under control? The National Endowment for the Arts isn't a lot of money out of the budget--but it's an item that is, at best, a luxury item. It isn't something that we should be funding with deficits this huge.
