A Sign of a Healthy Economy?
Or a sign that a lot of other people are beginning to wonder if there is any hope for real reform that doesn't start with removing the professional politician class in a less than polite manner? From Ammoland comes the report that more than one million guns went through the national firearms background check in August.
Now, some of those were used guns, moving from someone out of a job to someone who still has one. But there are a lot of states where private gun sales don't have to go through a dealer--and don't. So it may well be that half a million or more guns have been added to the stockpile.
