My friend R.S. McCain links to an article about a new doll described on Gizmodo. McCain outraged; Gizmodo engages in one of the most powerful understatements of the year:

McCain has the only appropriate response to something like this, since neither of us has the power to incinerate the manufacturer:
Today's cultural forecast: Raging epidemics of abuse, perversion, disease and addiction, with a 40% chance of widely scattered fire and brimstone.
