No, It's Not Just Suburban White Kids

This guy Van Jones is trying to make a point about the need for strong male role models in this video but he has completely destroyed it by:

1. Suggesting that there is some debate about whether young black men are animals or not. (Guess what: outside the .0001% of the population that are neo-Nazis, no one thinks anything like this.)

2. No, it isn't just "suburban white kids" who go on rampages shooting up schools. Cho Seung-Hui is one example. Another was a neo-Nazi Korean college student (and yes, that doesn't make sense) who went on a rampage at a college in western Massachusetts a few years back. And Peter Odighizuwa (an African immigrant) went on the rampage at Appalachian Law School in 2002.

3. What Van Jones has completely missed is that many (not all) of these mass murder incidents involve mental illness--not just some kid who is hurting and needs a hug.
