But if the Bush Administration sent out press releases this awash in typos, how many news stories would we be seeing about the ignorance and illiteracy of Republicans? While inconsequential (especially compared to the really big stuff that the Obama Administration is screwing up), as a commenter over at that news story points out:
For crying out loud, how hard is it to notice the red zigzagged lines under your typing when you type?!? (Prior to this parenthetical phrase, I typed "zig-zagged," the preferred spelling, and fixed it after the word was red-lined for me. Thirty seconds, tops.)
With all the resources we have in print and online, misspelling is flat-out laziness if not carelessness–and might be sadly and scarily indicative of what other lax work is occurring in the White House.
