California Attorney-General Jerry Brown (yes, he used to be Governor Moonbeam) has filed an amicus curiae brief concerning the question of incorporation of the Second Amendment against the states--and he's on the same side as the 33 states that also filed a similar brief--asking the Supreme Court to incorporate the Second Amendment!
If, in 1989, you had told me that we would be in such a bizarre and wonderful situation, I would have laughed, and sarcastically responded, "Yeah! And Poland and Lithuania will be some of our closest military allies, fighting alongside us in Afghanistan!"
